Thursday – Sunday, July 3-6, 2020
In 1926 Homestake Mining Company threw a party to celebrate 50 years of mining called the Golden Jubilee. In memory of that amazing event along with the specactular 4th of July celebrations they threw we now organize the Gold Camp Jubilee event. This festival celebrates our iconic golden history, and our amazing community.
Join us for the best fireworks show in the Black Hills over the impressive Open Cut with amazing echos and booms. Enjoy vendors, live entertainment, family-friendly activities and the small town charm of historic Main Street!
Our 2020 4th of July Festival will start on Thursday evening, 7/3/20 and go through Sunday, 7/5/20.
Frequently Asked: “Can you watch the fireworks from Main St.?” Not exactly, but you can get a great view from Manuel Brother’s Park and the parking lot of the Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center, as well as all of Mill Street and the hill side next to Subway restaurant.
