Planning your visit to our beautiful Mountain Village? Sometimes people are nervous about our steep streets, but we have one of the best snow removal crews in the country, so just drive slow and you won’t need anything special (awd, 4wd or chains). Our roads are great!
Itinerary Ideas:
3pm – If you’re coming on a Thursday – Saturday check out West Main Antiques for great prices on unique things. And if you’re sans kids stop by Dakota Shivers Brewing for a quick pre dinner drink.
4pm – drive up Main Street to see our vintage window painting display. There are some great stores along the main drag – Miners & Merchants Trading Post is chalk full of amazing gifts and Miners’ Tin Cup has a unique assortment of art, artifacts and used books.
5pm – come up for dinner at Lewie’s, if you haven’t had his burgers, you’re missing out!
6pm – stop by Java Joint for a hot chocolate before you start your great light viewing expedition.
