Fall in Love with Lead

Join us for a fun, Fall weekend in Lead! This schedule is subject to change so be sure to check back for the most up to date information.

🍁Thursday, September 19th
6:30pm - Brushes & Bites: Lead Me Home The Rustic Nook Bakery & Gnarly Pine Makerspace will host a family friendly guided paint class. Drinks and snacks will be available. Call 605-389-8021 for tickets.

🍁Friday, September 20th
2pm - Pumpkin Spice is in the Air: Treats & Coffee w/St. Jacob's Church: Come get your pre-parade snacks with St. Jacob's Church on the Homestake Opera House Patio.

2-4pm - Lead Main Street Fall Crawl: Get your Fall Crawl card at participating Lead Area Chamber Main Street businesses. Collect all the stamps and be entered to win the grand prize! Participating businesses include: Dakota Shivers Brewing, BH Mining Museum, Phoebe Hearst Apperson Library, Energetic Rising, Wandering Minds, The Stampmill, Aspire Boutique, Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center, Miners & Merchants, Rustic Nook Bakery & Bob's Silver Star.  Drop your card at Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center by 4:30pm to be entered into the drawing.

2-3pm - LD Homecoming Parade: The Lead-Deadwood School District will host their Homecoming Parade through Deadwood and then through Lead. Go Diggers! 2pm Deadwood, 3pm Lead

4:30pm to 6:30pm- Free Chicken Wings @ Bob's Silverstar Lounge: Get them while supplies last!

6pm - LD Homecoming Football Game: Cheer for the Diggers as they take on Belle Fourche at Deadwood's Ferguson Field.

7:30pm - Bingo @ Greenfield Pub

🍁Saturday, September 21st
8am - Charity Pickleball Tournament hosted by Kiewit/Alberici and Northern Hills Rec Association. Register at 8, tournament at 9. $60/team.  Email: [email protected] from more information.

10-11:30am - The Self Destruction Tour: Join Emma with Lead Historic Preservation on this walking tour around Lead Main Street to learn about a dark past including murders, scandals, horrific deaths and hidden lives. Meet at Rustic Nook Bakery (318 W. Main St.) 15 minutes prior for this free, PG-13 rated tour. Be sure to dress for the weather! The tour is approximately one mile. Our intriguing history is just another reason to Fall In Love With Lead! 🍂

10am-2pm - Balanced Brews: Yoga & Beer. An intimate event for yogis who love beer! Join us at Dakota Shivers Brewing for a morning filled with vibrant community connection and fun.  Purchase tickets here: https://balancedbrews.eventbrite.com/

11am-5pm - Crafts @ the Cut: Inaugural Art/Music Festival. Open Mic music jam session: bring your instrument and singing voice to showcase your talent to the community. 11am - 6pm - Food Trucks: Check out Hot Buns and Sergeant Poppers. Dakota Shivers Brewing & The Handley Center will be selling beer in the park.

2pm - Down the Hatch seasonal release: Stop in at Dakota Shivers Brewing for the release of Down the Hatch! This seasonal brew really brings the heat with authentic Hatch, New Mexico chiles. Tamales and chili available at 4pm. Get it before it's gone!

5pm to 9pm - Fall on the Patio w/ Live Music @ Stampmill: Join the Stampmill on their patio for Live Music by Unsinkable Rose and some delicious Fall foods like chili and cornbread or enjoy their regular menu.

7pm - Kyle Yamada & Yer Mom's Comedy Show at the Homestake Opera House: Fall in Love with Lead (all over again) with an evening of clean comedy for the entire family! Purchase tickets here on the Opera House website.

9pm - Karaoke @ Greenfield Pub

11am - 2:30pm - Lead Volunteer Fire Department Open House: Demonstrations will be given, hamburgers & brats will be provided, and drinks will be available. Schedule is listed below:

🍁Entire Weekend
Enjoy the fall colors on and off road! Take a Sunday drive, hike in the Canyon, bike the Mickelson trail or get off the beaten path in a UTV. Access the leaf peeper map here.

🍷Open container on Lead Main Street from 11am until 11pm Friday & Saturday, shopping at our excellent retail locations, and delicious food and libations at our colorful restaurants and bars.
