Winterfest


Winterfest February 16-18, 2024

Add some sparkle to your mid-winter by joining the locals for our annual snow festival. Winterfest celebrates all things winter on and off the mountain. Jam packed with events and activities for all ages it’ll be more fun than you can handle.

Friday 2/16

5pm: Plow Truck Lighted Parade – Main Street. Miners & Merchants will provide lights for 50% off for the trucks in the parade. Contact the Chamber to register. Line up at 4:45pm at Lead High School.

5pm: Bonfire/fundraiser chili feed by Explore Dance Company – Outside Visitor Center

All Day – Miles Beyond Ordinary Adventures:
 Cross Country Skiing, Fat Tire Biking, Snowmobiling and Sledding at these Lead area locations: Manuel Brothers Park, Eagle Cliff Trails; Homestake Trail, Iron Creek Trail; Mickelson Trail and the Black Hills Snowmobile Trail. Contact local businesses for hotel and equipment rental availability.
