Lead Weekly August 31st – September 7th

Hello Everyone,

School is back in Session! As you are out and about or commute to work, please be aware of the bus stops and kids crossing the streets. If you are taking your kiddos to school, turn off the radio for a few seconds and give them positive encouragement to get them through their day! Ask open ended questions and get them energized and ready to take on the world. Lots of after school activities are happening right now as well. It is football season! So get your Digger pride on and attend a game or two under the “Friday Night Lights”. A list of all happenings can be found on the Lead-Deadwood School Districts website https://www.lead-deadwood.k12.sd.us/. Other businesses in Lead will also be having activities for afterschool fun, so make sure to check out the community calendar https://business.leadmethere.org/events/calendar/?_ga=2.36435490.325749354.1661958876-1850450677.1648322688 for all that is happening in Lead!
