Today marks the start of Winterfest! We sure don’t have very much snow this year, but I’m excited to have something to get out and do despite the curious lack of “winter” this year.
Here’s what’s on the schedule:
All weekend – snowflake art sponsored by the Lead Deadwood Arts Council (displayed at the Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center)
TONIGHT! Thursday, 5-7pm – LACC Mixer @ Buck Snort Beer Patio at Whitetail Creek Resort in conjunction with Boys & Girls Club of the Black Hills. Whitetail Creek Resort is asking attendees to bring a snack item for the Boys and Girls club: fresh fruits, veggies, canned goods and other non perishables or individually wrapped snack items are also great. Chamber Mixers are open to the public and anyone is welcome to come out tonight! They’ll be serving sloppy joes, hot cocoa and treats from Rustic Nook Bakery! Hope to see you there!
Friday – 1/29
