Good Morning!
Yesterday morning there was a beautiful sunrise over Lead. Husband and I enjoyed our early morning coffee while we sat in awe of the vivid cotton candy colors.
From our house you can see the Yates headframe but only in the winter because in the summer our neighbor’s annoying boxelder maples have overtaken the view. Summer IS wonderful (even if part of my view is obscured) but come winter, the leaves are gone and we see new things in unexpected ways. I love to watch the light change each day against our Lead skyline.
Winter can be very gray – particularly this year when we haven’t had much snow and things just look drab. (Thank goodness for this week’s storm that cheered everything up!) But look up and see what you can see in our special season!

Sunday, 1/24
3:30-5:30 – MOPS, mothers of preschoolers will meet at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church (enter via basement door off parking lot). This is geared towards mothers of younger kids, but is applicable for all moms! Snacks, childcare and fun with other moms! Call me or Leigha for more info 584-3110

5-7pm – Chamber Mixer and Winterfest Kickoff party @ Whitetail Creek Resort with Boys and Girls Club!
