Hope everyone had a very special Christmas and are still enjoying the Holiday Season. I would like to take this opportunity and thank everyone that shopped local in Lead this season. We had a wonderful turn out during our Shop Local Wrap Up Party and thank you to all the businesses that donated door prizes and participated in the event. Other ways in which you could support your local businesses include, liking and commenting on their Facebook Page, referring and being a sponsor for their business, and volunteering some of your time during an event. Spreading the word about the quality of goods someone has to offer can be ten fold the amount you pull out of your pocket! And remember, when you shop small you are also bettering the quality of environment and economics in the town you live.

5:30-7:30pm – Family Skate Night at the Handley Recreation Center
7pm – Trivia at Lewie’s Eatery & Saloon (meet in back room).
Tuesday, 12/31
6:30pm – Free Poker for Fun at Hanger 7 Lounge at Blackstone Lodge and Suites
8:00pm – “Chocolat” and other Delights. Music from the 2000 film “Chocolat,” as well as other sweet symphonic delicacies at the Performing Arts Center of Rapid City.
