The Renaissance Festival was Crazy! As of right now, we are estimating 2400 people came into Lead for that weekend! I would love to hear how your business was impacted by this flow of people.
Now my gears are shifting to the 4th of July Gold Camp Jubilee Celebration. This year, the event will be two days, but mainly all the activities will happen on Monday July 4th. A tentative schedule of events is currently on the website leadmethere.org/goldcampjubilee . If you would like to be part of this schedule, a vendor down in the park, or a sponsor to help us fund the fireworks, please let me know soon as I will be trying to finalize in the next 3 weeks!

If you have a lot of atv/utv/side x sides coming into your business and they are out of state, let them know that they can obtain an off road vehicle registration from the Lawrence County Treasurer’s office website.
SDPB will be at the Stampmill on June 2nd from 10am to 3pm for next year’s episode of Dakota Life “Greeting from Lead”. Anyone with a Lead story to tell is invited and encouraged to attend!
