Apple Pie in the Sky Hopes

Howdy!

This has been a weird weird year. But as promised back in my early emails of the year (ah how naive we all were) – this is proving to be one of the best years YET for Lead! Things are moving quickly and upwards in ways nobody could have anticipated back in grim April! Our state (especially our area) saw unprecedented numbers of people that had never been to South Dakota, let alone Lead.

People are falling over themselves to purchase businesses and property in our great town. I received this email several weeks ago, “We fell head over heels in love. There is something truly special about your area and we have been exploring relocating to Lead.” This couple has since purchased a business in town and plans to relocate here as soon as possible. Houses are on the market for days before they’re snapped up!

Big business is moving to town, Main Street is on the up and up and everywhere people are furiously preparing to meet the new decade.

“Sierra is always so overly optimistic” you say, but this is more than me being optimistic, this is real and it’s really happening all around! Big things are coming!
