Great Things Happening in Lead in 2020

Good Morning,

Here is a note from one of the LACC/SLHVC Board Members, Moses Ward…

Hitting the million-dollar milestone is within reach! It was reported at Monday’s Lead City Commission meeting the preliminary numbers indicate Lead collected just over a million dollars in sales tax revenue for the first time in history. While we need to wait just a bit longer for all the final numbers to come in, it looks very promising. Hitting a million dollars in sales tax revenue is a big deal for our fair city and we hope to see this trend continue well beyond $1,000,000. Many thanks to all the businesses -and shoppers that contributed to this great success.

The Visit Lead Tourism Office is headed to Omaha for the American Bus Association Marketplace 2020. Visit Lead is partnering with the Deadwood Visitor Bureau in an effort to introduce Lead with our unique history and attractions to motorcoach operators from all over the USA and Canada. We had a great 2019 and are looking forward to bringing even more visitors to Lead in 2020!
