Better Late Than Never

This letter is crazy late! Which probably only two of you will notice – thanks for noticing!

The reason it’s late it partly because wow, a holiday week really messes with your head! How is it Thursday! But also because we’ve had company and so we’ve been doing extra things that also make today feel like Monday. I’m all kinds of confused!

Having the company was wonderful. It made me realize something – we’re so lucky to get to live here! And also, sometimes I never know where to go on vacation because to be honest I don’t really want to leave home! Having company is the best alternative, it forces you to tour them around to all the fun things we rarely make time to do (Visit Lead’s Big 3!) and also just helps you see your surroundings and experiences that come to be mundane through new eyes! Don’t we usually go on vacation to mix up our routine? Get out of a rut? Shake up our boring lives? Yes! And having company does all those things with no packing and unpacking involved! And like every great vacation it’s fun to come home again (or send them home) and get back to our regular “boring” old routines!

_______ Here’s what happening around town this week
